Native Missions Ministry

Missionary Sponsorship - How It Work | Advantages of Native Missions | FAQ's | Sponsor a Native Missionary

Although Freedom From Chains (FFC) recognizes the great need and the importance of sending cross-cultural missionaries from the "west" to bring the Gospel of Christ to the unevangelized peoples throughout the world, we believe that we are called by God to support native missions ministry so we may send native missionaries to evangelize their own people. We work with indigenous congregations and their elders, seeking men and women who are filled with the Holy Spirit so we may help them to preach the Gospel where it has not been heard and to plant churches where none have existed before.

Mission experience has demonstrated to us that it is wiser to support native missionaries who work within their own culture than to send foreign missionaries who must labor in unfamiliar surroundings. A native missionary is highly effective because he knows the customs, culture, and language of the people he is ministering to.

Every year the Lord enables Freedom From Chains to send out trained native missionaries who are blessed with an extra portion of God's Holy Spirit. These brethren have a consuming passion to preach the Gospel of Christ to their countrymen in the hope that the chains that enslave their countrymen may be broken; that men might be set free from the bondage of sin and spiritual darkness. Too many, it’s more than a job, it’s a glorious addiction to bring sight to the blind, hope to the hopeless, and freedom to the oppressed. Our native missions’ ministry is focused on planting churches in rural villages enabling the seed of the gospel to take root and grow in communities that previously have not heard the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Native Missionaries Bringing the Gospel to Life in Loving Action

Besides preaching the Gospel of Christ in words, we also preach the Gospel in loving actions. We serve those who are victims of poverty, hunger, unemployment, wars, earthquakes, floods, epidemics, and other social vices. We come to the aid of fellow believers who are themselves facing persecution for their refusal to deny Christ as they continue to advance the Kingdom of God forcefully and lovingly.

We Channel Resources Needed to Effectively Communicate the Gospel

Beyond sending native missionaries out to the field, we also supply them with the resources they would otherwise have an extremely difficult time in acquiring. Resources to strengthen the impact of their programs, and expand their reach so that the Church can thrive and multiply in the places where non-indigenous missionaries and foreign organizations could not reach as effectively as the native believers can. We provide our missionaries with tools such as bicycles, scooters, gospel literature, film and projector, lanterns, etc. These precious saints, our brothers and sisters need our help.
